Upgrades
I removed my Fitcam X (Dual channel version), replaced it with a triple channel 70mai T800. I did not trust using the Fitcam X as it constantly failed to record — as many others experienced this same issue and posted in various forums.

70mai vs Viofo
I have several 70mai dash cams being pretty happy with them. In saying that though, I do find they cut corners a bit too much a times. Like with my A810 that only records at 25fps in 2-ch mode, IMO that frame rate causes the video to be not so smooth during playback. Hopefully they don't do somethin

BUG: Viofo A229 Plus Interior Camera IR Light Stays ON when the interior camera itself is OFF
Viofo still failed to fix this problem. Anyone considering getting a 3 channels should have a look at 70mai T800

Best dashcam?
A little out of your price range but 70mai A810 is really good. I have it on most of my cars. I have a couple of A800s, which are pretty good (and closer to your budget) and a BlackVue 900s and 900x. BlackVue cameras are good quality but the app is so bad. I’m considering replacing both my BlackVue

Need recommendations on a 2 or 3 channel dash cam
I just ordered the 70mai T800, it was between that or the VIOFO A329S. Both highly rated.
