Supercaps + 3M tape can easily take the heat, so no worries there. What's your budget and are you looking for single or dual channel? FWIW, I've been dailying a 70mai a810 lite for 2 months now with zero issues.

First Hands-on with 70mai 4k A810 Lite set, Part 2/3 - Daytime Footage

Well I checked by switching down to 1080p from the main dash cam, sadly, it only goes up to 30fps. Kinda understandable as this unit is supposed to be an entry level. Looking for a battery powered/wireless dash cam, especially one that specializes in parking monitoring/holding a charge for a little while

Okay, I looked more into it and I think people were correct that there's not such a thing as a true battery powered dash cam (I feel like they certainly could exist, I'm not sure why they went out of style). However, I think the 70mai A810 Lite would be a pretty good fit for what we're looking for.
