I'm a simple person, I see Sundaras I upvote. Not really familiar with on-ears but I assume you'd have to spend a fair bit more to approach the detail and textures of the Hifiman cans.

More power doesn't equate to an improvement in sound, plus at 98db/1mW and 30ohms the Fidelio X3s aren't too hard to drive anyway. K11 r2r are more than enough for Aryas, they are easier to drive than sundaras, I have the k13 r2r and I don't get it out of low gain for my pair of Arya organics. The only advantage I can think of is the peq on the k13 but that's just features.

Headphones are definitely biased mostly towards genre. I love a lot of different types of music, so I usually just pick up a different headphone each day and listen to whatever genres sound best on those cans!
