L50 ultra vs L40 ultra Gen 2?
The Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 actually has the stronger suction at 25,000 Pa, while the L50 Ultra has 19,500 Pa. That said, the difference in real-world performance comes down to design focus: L40 Ultra Gen 2 (25,000 Pa): Higher raw suction power for deeper carpet extraction and stronger pickup of embe

L40 Ultra "gen 2"
As an owner of both an L10s Ultra and L40 Ultra.. the L40 is sooo much better. It cleans better, is way better at obstacles, way longer runtime, etc. I recently got the refurb L40 on Dream's eBay shop for $250 US, hard to beat that. I'm actually hoping another one shows up so I can ditch the L10s ul

Robot vacuum recommendations??
With three heavy-shedding dogs and a toddler, I'd honestly prioritize three things: strong auto-empty performance, good hair handling, and a dock that washes and dries its own mops. At those prices, the L40 Ultra Gen 2 at $384 would be my pick. The lack of hot-water mop washing sounds disappointing on paper, but that's a huge discount for a robot with strong navigation, a full self-maintaining dock, and features that usually sit in a higher price tier. For a home that's mostly

📢 Prime Day Questions, Recommendations & Regrets Megathread
If budget isn't a concern, the X60 Max Ultra is one of the most capable all-around robots currently available. Its biggest strengths are obstacle avoidance, pet hair handling, carpet performance, and edge cleaning. If you have a busy home with pets, cables, shoes, toys, or other clutter on the floor

📢 Prime Day Questions, Recommendations & Regrets Megathread
The D20 Air Plus is more of a value-oriented robot than a flagship competitor to the X60, L40, or X50. If your goal is reliable daily vacuuming and light mopping on a budget, it can be a solid option, but I wouldn't expect the same level of obstacle avoidance, carpet handling, edge cleaning, or auto
