My last PC lasted over decade, and I want my next to last as long. Is this build crazy or reasonable?
if you stick to 1440p and just upgrade to a 240hz 1440p OLED this will easily last over a decade, but 4k is way more demanding and requires a much more rigorous upgrade cycle. so i'd stick to 1440p if longevity is your number 1 concern. the upgrade to 240hz OLED is massive no matter what. powerspec

What 9070xt pairs with my build or keep my 7800XT?
Yeah ultimately your GPU just matters way more for performance than your CPU, you already have a x3d chip - in practice if you kept your 7800xt you'd get a hardly noticeable performance boost from a 7800x3d -> 9850x3d I'd check out the XFX Mercury RGB: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/tCdMnQ/xfx-mer

I've had this HDR issue on ASUS XG27AQDMG since March drivers (using RTX 5070 TI). These new drivers wiped all my refresh rate options. Only thing that can be enabled is 60 HZ. Previously HDR couldn't be toggled on but at least I had a high refresh rate monitor. Back to January drivers I guess

So I have these specs and want a solid OLED monitor for it but don’t wanna break the bank any recommendations?
If you want to save money I’d wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but if you just want something under $800, I’d go for a 1440p monitor. I have pretty much your build with a 7800x3d. I have the Asus XG27AQDMG and it’s great. There’s the LG 27GX790B-B for $750 and it has an insane 540hz display at 14

Just built a 9800X3D and 5070 Ti rig. Monitor is the last piece. 32-34 or 27? Budget PHP 50k (~$800).
27” is my go to, anything else is too big especially if your playing a game with a mini map. That’s just my personal opinion though. I run a 9800x3d/5080 and I recently bought an Asus XG27AQDMG and absolutely love it. I personally value frames over clarity. 1440p on an OLED looks amazing though. It’

Is it actually worth it to buy OLED or other above average monitor for gaming?
If you can afford it, yes. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't have an OLED. I recommend you avoid QD-OLEDs though. QD-OLEDs have more issues in my opinion compared to WOLEDs. I recently returned an Alienware AW2725D QD-OLED monitor, and I can't recommend QD-OLEDs after experiencing their purple
