Mask for eating in a restaurant
If I'm going for an indoor work event or other obligation, I wear my usual mask (Can99 N95) and take my AirFanta 4Lite and place it in front of me to mitigate risk unmasking to eat or drink. Most air purifiers are aiming to clean room air, the 4Lite is designed to point filtered air directly at your

Air filters for train?
If you’re sitting in coach and not in a private sleeper room, I recommend a laminar air purifier like the AirFanta 4Lite. It doesn’t clean the air in the entire room, but it delivers a stream of filtered air directly in front of the unit. If you position your face directly in front of it (recommende

all the preventative tech?
I like them a lot! I have the AirFanta 4Lite and to me the logic is that it is asking a lot for a little air purifier to tackle entire rooms filled with people, but what really matters is the air that you are taking in, so if I can put less pressure on my n95 in a high-risk environment by making sur

Sick for a month, 10th infection
Yeah I totally get the dentist is necessary. Not every dentist is taking precautions but you can try getting the first appointment of the day and looking for dentists who at least run air purifiers or have masked staff. Depending on where you live r/zerocovidcommunity may be helpful for finding a CO

I have a SIP valve and stay hydrated. protein powder mixes are a thought if you like them. I eat protein bars on layovers in a deserted part of the airport, by lifting my mask, t

9 times????!!!!!!!!! Please please please invest in N95 masks and air purifiers. There’s an air purifier you can take on the go with you, the AirFanta 4Lite. I use it at work as an extra precaution in addition to my office air purifiers. I’m so sorry you haven’t been educated until now as to how you

Fan and not purifier for desk in a cubicle in a relatively small, crowded open floor?
Assuming you’re already masking with a well fitted (ideally fit tested) respirator, the thing you’re looking for is an air filter with laminar flow. Fans and typical air filters are turbulent, which causes other, non purified air to be swept up in the current and can push contaminated air in your fa

AirTamer 320 - any good?
No, personal air purifiers are generally not a thing. The main issue lies in the turbulent flow coming from the device, which means that the contaminated room air immediately mixes back in to the stream well within your breathing zone. The only exception is devices that have a laminar flow, like the

Flying while immunocompromised - how to best protect myself?
I totally agree with you in the case of undersized traditional air purifiers, but I think that laminar flow personal air purifiers (e.g. AirFanta 4Lite or AirFanta Mini) can be helpful if used correctly.
