Wifi extenders that actually work?

As many others have said the TP Link Deco line is excellent, my house was pre-wired for Ethernet and the Decos can work with that as backhaul, or can also work in mesh mode without a wired backhaul. In your case of a Dormer Bungalow you probably have some degree of access to the attic crawlspace so

Are You Using Power over Ethernet in Your Home?

There’s only one or two PoE Residential options for TP-Link The Deco X50 PoE is the best system I’ve ever used. I have 10 APs in deployment - 4 in my homes ceiling mounted and 6 at my business, also ceiling mounted - consistent Gigabit WiFi across the entire home/building. All without the hassle of

Wifi help

Sureee!! The X50-PoE is a TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi access point that’s powered through the Ethernet cable (Power over Ethernet), so you don’t need a separate power outlet where it’s’s mounted. It’s designed to be installed on a ceiling or wall and works great with wired backhaul for strong, consistent cov

Help a novice with new home network!

Do you want simple or enterprise? If you want simple, use those network drops for a few Tp-Link Deco X50 POE or Eero POE 6. You'll probably want to get a Tp-Link Deco router to host those X50s for convenience sake, and that'll have Wi-Fi built into it. But if you go with Eero, they sell a Gateway wi

Are You Using Power over Ethernet in Your Home?

Thanks for sharing about your network―it's awesome to hear the X50-PoE has been such a champ for both your home and business! I know we have some other PoE devices that are pretty popular at the consumer level, like injectors and unmanaged desktop switches. I can see why Deco would be a particularly

Good wifi6 wired ap with good roaming

Wifi6E is partially permitted in India since January, however to fully utlize the 6Ghz spectrum, each brand needs to launch their custom firmware, which might be pending at tplink end in case of XE75. Deco X50-poe is most suitable option for you, price wise, features wise, and service centre support

Most affordable WiFi 7 Setup

WiFi 7 is overkill - most devices can’t utilize WiFi 7 or even 6E Just go with WiFi 6 and save the money That said I highly recommend the TP-Link Deco X50 PoE system. We have it in our business and home - we get a consistent gigabit WiFi connection on the X50 system

Looking for Recommendations on Networking Solutions (I'm Moving)

That's how I would do it. I believe that the U7 Lite is very solid for it's price. I have gone the TP-Link Deco route a few times and I regret every moment of it. For example - one Deco X50 PoE with WiFi 6 and 2.5 GbE uplink is more expensive than a U7 Lite and don't even get me started on the crapp

Not sure what to buy

I really like my TP link Deco mesh, just upgraded to a BE65 as main unit where my fiber comes in in the basement and then I have a single X50-PoE in the ceiling of my livingroom and it pretty much covers the entire house 160m2. I’ve setup Deco for my sister and parents as well. I can only recommend
