If yo piss ain’t clear….

💦PSA - Make sure you’re getting electrolytes! Hyponatremia from too much PLAIN water can be subtle and cause dehydration-like symptoms. Headache, fatigue, etc. Drink a 24-32oz high sodium beverage right after you wake up. I use Redmond RE-LYTE. Others are LMNT or Liquid IV. Keep your camelbak full a

having trouble staying hydrated on T

Like others say, I think you definitely need electrolytes. I'd recommend looking into higher quality (and more affordable) stuff than Gatorade or the shitty single-serve mixes you buy in grocery stores. I personally use Redmond Life's Re-Lyte electrolyte mix for my water. It's more expensive upfront

Any tips for dealing with heat like this?

Don't turn the engine off each stop. Leave that AC running. It's too hot to risk dying in this heat. If you're in an EV find the seat cooler on the AC, its surprisingly helpful. Lots of water AND electrolytes. I recommend "Redmond Re-lyte." It's $60 on Amazon but it will last you a few weeks or so.

What electrolytes does everyone like? Liquid iv works for me but I hate the idea of consuming so much sugar but the non sugar version has so many weird sweeteners. Are there any good unflavored ones? Thanks!!

I use Redmond Re-Lyte, pina colada is my favorite flavor but they have a lot of others. It’s sugar free but I think there’s also an unflavored one. I get the containers where you can measure out the powder yourself so you can control how strong the flavor is.

No matter how much water I drink during the day i'm parched right before bed?

That pattern usually isn’t a water problem, it’s timing and electrolyte balance, since plain water all day can leave sodium a bit low by night, leading to thirst and palpitations. What’s helped me is shifting electrolytes later and making sure sodium isn’t skimpy: something like Redmond Re-Lyte, or

How is everyone getting their electrolytes?

I wasn’t using any additives for the first 8 months. I have always drunk tons of water (no need to flavor it) and my food seemed to cover the basic electrolytes. But around March (and after 60+ lbs of weight loss) I started having some moments of dizziness when I rose, after high exertion, etc.. Sta

Electrolytes that doesn’t taste gross

Pickle juice and some coconut waters are fine for me but nothing is as potent as Redmond's re-lyte powder. They have a variety pack on amazon and other places if you want to see which flavor you like best. I just went with lemon lime. I have to take a larger volume or electrolytes after I had my gal

Electrolyte powder that's as clear as water?

KetoChow has electrolyte drops. They are clear. Redmond ReLyte is a favorite though. Still not understanding the clear container policy and how that requires the liquid to also be clear. Whatevs.
