Forgive me for my ignorance, but wouldn't it be cheaper to get a Lumix S1Rii and use LUTs to get the same results as an SL3-P?

Why Buy the SL3-S Over the SL3-P?
The LUMIX S1RII appears to be virtually the same camera as the SL3-P at a much lower price. Unless I am missing something…

Great video. I definitely find myself agreeing with MichaelsHardline’s comment above too. I was an original S5 user, upgraded to the S5II and now I’m using the S1RII. There has been a tangible jump in autofocus reliability every time. Obviously the jump from the S5’s DFD Contrast AF to the S5II’s PD

I jumped from Canon to Lumix and its been a great experience so far. I love the colors that come out of the S1Rii and the convenience features, like focus peaking, false color, real-time LUT, etc. The only negative I have is that the battery life is mediocre. Switched from a7iv to S1rii earlier this year mainly because I wasn’t inspired while shooting with the Sony. The S1rii’s realtime lut capabilities and all the modes for video make me happy again. I love how lumix doesn’t hold back the features for their cameras. I mainly shoot photos while traveling
