With 64GB of RAM and GTT set in Linux to make all of the system RAM available to the iGPU, you can alrea

I just picked up the UM890 Pro from Minisforum and it's perfect, it has true HDMI 2.1 and streams 4K @ 144hz with HDR enabled. I'm streaming from my 7800X3D + 4090 desktop, ethernet to ethernet and it honestly feels as close to native as I think you can get. Some of my Moonlight stats: Video stream:

For context, I currently have a 64 GB/5TB SSD UM790 Pro and a 96 GB RAM/5TB MS-A2, both Minisforum. I also use Python virtual environments, FreeBSD jails and bhyve VMs on these systems. The MS-A2 can be powered on remotely when I need additional CPU/RAM capacity. I’m considering the power/performanc

Just to mention something as a happy Minisforum owner (since most without problems doesn't write about it). My UM890 Pro on 1.02 bios + DEG1/3080 ti has been running 24/7 without a problem for 1.5 years now. Only rebooted after windows updates etc. It even survived a power outage a few days ago. We'

Depends on the type of games he wants to play. Mini PC's are not generally going to play new modern games well. They are ok for some older games and non graphics intensive games. I like the Beelink Ser8, GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus, and Minisforum UM890 Pro for lighter stuff. The new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395
