I think the GMKtec K12 is probs good value at $500 (Ryzen 7 8745HS CPU, Radeon 780M iGPU - 32gb RAM, 500GB SSD) vs competitors who have soldered ram and less expandability. eh, the problem is the RAM and SSD. You can get a great mini-PC for around $499 CAD without RAM+SSD - GMTek K12 - https://www.amazon.ca/GMKtec-Barebones-Computer-Expansion-K12/dp/B0GC4TSPNN But the RAM and SSD is additional cost. If you got some laying around, that would be great.

Honestly it's working good, a bit rough around the edges. I built it because I really don't like Android. The lack of control, software support abandonment, etc, have driven me to work towards eradicating Android from all my devices. So atm we have these Mini PCs, they were £160 no RAM no SSD. Beast
