Migrating to more power efficient mini PCs

Hardware Recommendations for Self-Hosting Fluxer?
As someone who also looked into self hosting I would be strongly against a raspberry pi since per dollar the performance is not really there, getting a used SFF pc like a lenovo m75q is probably going to do you far better long term.

Any recommendations for efficient LGA1151 boards? Trying to stay under 40W idle

Is this a good deal?
It's a decent price. You will have to buy at least a 4gb stick of RAM, but a single 16GB or two 8gb sticks would be better. You could get away with just adding one 8GB stick for 12GB total and the lowest cost. Then you need a NVMe drive. You can get a 4GB stick for around $10 and $40 for the two 8GB

Basically, you're 100% correct. ASRock, ASUS & MSI are among the few who use mobile, non-socketed mPCs builds, with prices which reflect the market.
