Roomba Combo j7+

I've had several Roombas, bought higher and higher models, and I wasn't crazy about them. After a year or so, my Roomba J7+ would take 6-7 hours to clean an area of about 800sqft. Switched to Roborock, much happier. Quieter and fewer issues. Does a good job sweeping and mopping. Finishes sweeping in

I do have an old Roomba j7+ on another floor that’s limping along. Maybe I’ll get the Flow 2 and run it on the problematic floor and replace the Roomba with the Flow 1 🤔

So that’s why I woke up one morning with a bunch of tea light candles and salt on the floor… 😅 For my cleaning routine I have a Roomba j7+ that’s scheduled to run daily and a Dyson v12 that I use 2-3 times a week for all the corners and under furniture the Roomba didn’t get.

I bought dirt cheap roombas (i7+ and j7+) off marketplace for more than that, so yes good deal

Just be aware that Roomba Max 705 is not the legacy Roomba you loved. It's a combination of Chinese developed robot and some iRobot techs like dual rubber brushes. But the uniqueness of Roomba such as the repair-ability has been gone. Other than that, I think Max 705 is great. Upgraded from j7

My Roomba J7+ is fine after 3 years... though you will need to manually remove all the hair stuck on the brushes like once per week, but I don't mind doing it...If you are willing to pay this much, the newer model has a mop integrated as well.
