Struggling with focus XT5

I use an XT4 but I always shoot on S unless I need the focus point to track my subject, then I use C continuous. Check out Pal2Tec on you tube. Find his section on fujifilm focus tips/help. He can explain all of the settings far better than I. Good luck, I’m sure it’s not the XT5 my shots are fine o

Most overrated camera

I still believe the ae1 cost as much as a Nikon f2, f3. Also fujifilm x trans ii cameras used cost 500 dollars. Omg this is insane. I have the xt20 and xt4. Both are overpriced used lol.

First Time Fuji buyer

Congrats, and I hope you enjoy your X-T4 as much as I've enjoyed mine. Here's some resources you may find helpful. Pal2Tech on YouTube is everything Fujifilm. Gets to the point, great tips and commentary on all issues regarding Fujifilm bodies and lenses, including third-party gear. His X-T4 Setup G

How often do you use full manual?

I only use manual mode. I learned on cameras that didn't really have the auto features and when I tried using those auto features I got frustrated with them and just never used them. I don't find it difficult to use manual mode. I'm using a Fujifilm XT4 so I can change all the settings really easily

Nikon ZR: a great camera ruined by Nikon’s IBIS

I share this disappointment. While I never saw the warping you described. I do see that that whether if its in the sport or standard modes the IBIS looks incredibly unnatural and jumpy and it always feels like I am fighting against it. I come from fujifilm (XT4 and XH2S) which isnt known to have the

Nikon Z5II Announced

Nikon is pushing hard into video and that’s just what video people want. I really hope they keep some photography-first camera with a 2-way-tilt screen like Fujifilm did with the x-t4 -> x-t5. Would probably be a potential z7 but who knows what even to do with this part of their lineup…

Looking for a camera that makes photography fun again — OM System, Fuji, Leica or something else?

Honestly, I think you've already identified what you're really looking for: not the "best" camera, but one that makes you want to go out and shoot. That's a very different goal, and I don't think another Sony body will solve it. You already have a professional system for work, so this camera should

First Camera : XH2 vs XT5 , Love XT5’s retro design though

This is my opinion from my experience. Take it for what it's worth:If you are looking for travel photography, consider the much lighter and somewhat easier to use X-T50. As a first camera, even consider the X-T30 III as it is less expensive and will help you learn and leave room to buy a couple of g

What camera should I get?

The X-T4 Mirrorless Kit: (body + XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4) even against pricier full-frame flagships (€3000+), X-t4 IS THE Best Camera because no expensive model matches it. Other than the X-S20 which is the same with PASM instead of retro dials. I cannot insist enough on how much this camera is an actual
