After the truly abysmal support I got when I bought a fellow ode Gen 2 and the ionizer did not work, I wouldn’t buy another product from them… your story doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

I used to use a hand grinder so I didn’t wake up the house, but one of the reasons I settled on the Fellow’s Ode 2 Grinder is because it is quieter than others I’ve had or heard. More of a low rumble sound.

I regret getting into the fellow 'eco system' On my third Aiden (replaced by Fellow who said each issue was a fault) and even that one I had to get the shower screen changed due to corrosion. Willingness to replace poorly made products doesn't make up for poorly made products with bad QA. I feel lik

My Fellow Ode 2 is significantly quieter than the old Cuisinart grinder I had. Don’t have numbers or a broad experience but I suspect you would be happy

Your support headaches are the reason I stopped sending my Ode Gen 2 back and forth for repairs (motors keep seizing) and decided to literally toss it off a cliff and replace it with a Sculptor 064S. That said, I also have an Aiden and it DOES make good coffee. I got mine in March of 2025 and I don'

Here’s my rambling as a Fellow sorta-fan with mixed feelings. As an owner of many Fellow products, I can say that a lot of their stuff is innovative, makes good coffee, and is esthetically unique. I’ve never had issues with the quality of their non-electric products, and in fact, I think they’re ver

I love the concept. However, two things I've noted: If I upload the same picture of the same coffee it gives me different recipes with every upload. The grind settings recommended for a fellow ode gen 2 are very fine. It's suggesting 2.0 - which is very different to what most sources recommend. My g

Best coffee grinder depends on the intended usage. Some say it could be the Weber SG1 but most would say it's a bit retro. More seriously, there's nothing wrong with Baratza. For beginners a Baratza Encore is affordable and does a great job for filter coffee. Next step up for filter is Fellow Ode ge

Chemex for 20 years is awesome, that’s commitment. I’m actually not on a 1Zpresso yet, I’ve just been running a Fellow Ode gen 2 for now. It doesn’t get fine enough for espresso so I’m in the market for an upgrade. I’ve been slowly getting more into the whole dialing in side of things though, especi
