You are chasing a phantom. The best advice I can give is don't go cheap. Don't go Bx50 anything, why limit the amount of M.2, SATA, & USB4, go all out & get the X*70E, you won't regret it. I've picked asrock x870e taichi lite in the end. I'm using it with latest bios. Already did pbo editing, works super solid with tmax85 and -40mV, so probably was lucky on silicon lottery also. Only downside is the gigabyte 5080s very loud fans.

I've now settled on the MSI B850 TOMAHAWK MAX MB. I Think it priced well with good specs, sure USB4 would have been nice plus the extra features of the X870E, but I won't be installing more two NVMe 2 drives, I will have two Sata SSD drives that i already own for storage. I have Synology 1821+ NAS,
