This wasn‘t exactly planned but man is it a nice upgrade

I still have my 2021 M1 iPad Pro 12.9" and have no desire to upgrade yet. The M silicon is truly a work of marvel from Apple and have only had a previous iPad Mini 5 for 4.5 years, when I upgraded to the iPad Mini 7 (and that one was noticeably slower after all those years: A12 to A17 Pro)

OLED iPad Mini: Release Date, Pricing, and What to Expect

I returned my Mini 7 today because the display was so bad. It’s got A17 pro and 8GB of ram and shit feels like my old iPad mini 1 which had same refresh rate like how the fuck they managed this.

How many of you would be moved by this Macbook A18 Pro?

I’m very tempted. I have the iPad mini 7 that has the A17 pro and that covers MORE than my power needs so the A18 pro in a laptop? I could be very swayed

Stage manager works amazing on the mini 7. It’s a shame Apple doesn’t officially support it.

Currently using Stage Manager on my mini 7 with an external display, keyboard & mouse. Didn’t realize how useful this feature is. Now I’m debating returning for an iPad Air, even though it’s a little bigger. Or, never updating my mini 7, because this Stage Manager “tweak” was patched out in ipadOS 1

So this came out today….

Google's Gemini is so much better and helpful in my daily life. I can just ask: "What are the cheapest flights between Chicago and Orlando in the next 3 months for a 7-day trip?" Gemini will give me a list of cheap round trip flights including the flight numbers, dates, and prices. I double checked

New iPad Air Models With M3 Chip Seemingly Confirmed by Leaker

When the iPad mini 7 was a couple months out from release there were rumors of it getting the A17 instead of the newer A18. And plenty of people including me said, that can’t be right. The A17 Pro is based on an end of life chip and processor node that Apple wants to stop producing. But we have an i

Do some Apple devices briefly use MAC randomization even when it’s disabled?

Wondering by if anyone else is seeing this. It is only occurring with my Apple iPad mini A17 Pro model. MAC randomization is disabled - Private WiFi address is set to off. However, when I wake it after not using it for a day, I’ll get an alert from Firewalla about a new device using MAC randomizatio

Bring laptop or invest in mini tablet?

EDIT — Corrected some wrong info, and gave links to relevant information to "prove" it correct. —————————— Oh boy, I love tech. Don't mind my comment, but tldr; I'd go to the Apple store and see if you can experiment with Lightroom/CapCut to see if it'd work for your use case. Tbh I had very little
