Idk why people keep complaining boox is complicated and it takes time to get used to it

I just got the same device and I love it! With that said, I understand why people warn about complications: If you're new to e-readers AND android, then this device is not just a unbox and immediately start reading. You have to learn the navigation, android OS, how to get books, how to side load (BO

AO3 on my kindle

I got an Android ereader over a Kindle/Kobo specifically so I can read AO3 on a good browser lol. I love my Boox Go 7. It has page turn buttons that work on webpages!

Onyx Boox will release Poke 7 on May 21st 2026

I thought I didn't need the buttons before getting my Boox Go 7, but now I will never go back. They are so convenient

If XTeink decides to make a bigger device, I think this is the ideal size

There are so many great 6-7" e-ink readers already. Not saying xteink couldnt make their version of such a device a great one but to me the size of x4 and x3 is what really differentiates them from the competition. I have the Boox Go 7" and the x4 and to me that's the perfect combo - Boox at home an

What is so bad about Boox ereaders?

So I have to say that this was not true for my Boox Go 7. I came on board expecting to have to install a bunch of apps, or at least replace what I presumed was going to be a crappy ereader/ui.... But no, the Boox Go 7 BW out of the box just functions as an ereader. There's no installing anything unl

Does this ereader exist?

Boox Go 7 BW meets all of these. I love the physical buttons and you don’t have to side load anything as it supports Google play store natively! Oh annotation typing would be the only criteria it doesn’t meet but typing on ebook is never a great experience because of input delays (though go7 is pret

Boox or another ereader to replace Kindle PW?

Onyx Boox Go 7, 7" screen, 300 ppi, E Ink Carta-1300—exactly the same screen technology as the latest Kindle Paperwhite. A beautiful device, 100% recommended.

Bought an Onyx Boox Go 7 - battery lasts 1–2 days. Should I get a Kindle Paperwhite and gift the Onyx?

How many hours a day are you reading? And do you keep wifi on and the frontlight on? With wifi off and frontlight halfway up, I get ~12-14 hours of reading out of my Boox Go 7 Colour Gen II, which for me would translate to 7-10 days of reading. I’d assume that the BW version would last longer as I w

The Kindle Oasis was peak e-reader

For folks who , like me , think that the oasis was the peak - please look into the Boox Go 7”. You might like it it’s identical form factor and functionality (with more ) would be great for you. I’m thinking about buying one but I am BROKE
