“Luxury/Designer” makeup recommendations? Or anything super high quality.
I’ll be completely honest as someone who owns clé de peau, hermès, Chanel, Gucci, Charlotte Tilbury YSL and Dior makeup. If you’re looking for sophisticated makeup looks and you like the luxury experience, there are a lot of good options, but it won’t elevate your makeup compared to good mid end pro

What’s the one viral product you bought because of the hype and actually don’t regret?
The YSL Lash Clash mascara in black and brown. Lengthening and thickening - my absolute holy grail of mascara.

What was your most expensive makeup purchase regret?
YSL Lash Clash mascara. Clumpy and flakey. Only lasted a very short time before it started to dry out.

What products have you HATED recently?
YSL’s Lash Clash mascara. I bought it based on it coming up multiple times on one of this sub’s “holy grail item” posts, but I have never used a mascara (I tried for about 2 months to love it) that was so clumpy.

Which high-end makeup product do you think is totally worth its price tag and why? {2025}
I’ve got a few! Chanel Les beiges hydrating foundation (it’s actually so perfect, skin like but still gives a full enough - maybe medium but buildable, but also can use less?- coverage, no dry patches yet also doesn’t get gross and oily, perfect colour match -B10 for me as a fair neutral gal- long l

What are 3 makeup products that you cannot do your makeup without?
Tinted sunscreen (was a tower 28 girl but I have converted to Live Tinted found at Ulta), Kosas pressed powder and YSL Lash clash mascara. These are my basics although a setting spray is also a must for me.

honestly I own a lot of YSL, it just really works well for me. LOVE the all hours foundation, it is my HG. And yes, the lash clash mascara is incredible. I own the powder blush in 44 and it’s probably my favorite blush ever. The new Armani skin tint is phenomenal.

Blushes - westman atelier cream blush, Armani liquid blush, YSL powder blush. Armani luminous silk for foundation. Haven’t tried the new formula, though. YSL lash clash mascara, I prefer the brown shade Victoria Beckham eyeliner and skin tint

what’s an expensive makeup product that you don’t regret buying?
Charlotte Tilbury contour Wand, Ysl Lash Clash mascara, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under eye. That’s it. I regret most purchases. They either break me out, don’t wear well, are hard to apply, the color doesn’t match or isn’t flattering, etc.
