Is Keychron a good choice for a reliable keyboard?

No. I cannot in good faith recommend Keychron any longer. I used to be a huge champion of their products, but something is wrong as of late and they don't seem to be doing anything about it. If you want a prebuilt keyboard, I'd look at Wobkey (Rainy75, Crush80) or Womier/Yunzii, both brands of which

Do not buy Epomaker. See this post about Epomaker: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/196hreg/mykeyboard_thickthock_other_vendor_issues/ Yunzii is on the QMK license violators list. Mchose is not officially on the list, but they have never tried to submit a pull request to QMK. QMK ha

Highly recommended keyboard broke after only 2 months. The usb c slot on my Yunzii C75 now wont connect and i have a piece of ewaste. Going to be sticking to wired only keyboard from now on, the durability is terrible. My cheap reddraggon k552 ive been using for years and still works fine.

I bought a Yunzii based on reddit comments claiming it's a good keyboard for the price range. Computer refused to post with it plugged into USB. Fortunately post office is a 5 minute walk away so I returned it same day.

That's an option, you are right... I'll see, but I did see some people online saying that yunzii isn't that good, talking especially about that keyboard

I got a yunzii keyboard for my bday. when I try to install it's software from the website my computer won't let me, citing it contains a virus or unwanted software. running windows 11. any ideas?

Thanks, I found it. I'm not getting a Yunzii keyboard anymore though. Their software isn't open source, so there could potentially be malware of a keylogger in the software because people can't see or modify the files

Personal take: Buying a soldering iron for 1 project, solder, wick, flux, all for potentially 1 fix is almost a similar amount of waste compared to recycling or selling it for parts for $5. Granted I don't find it super difficult, but say for my wife's build or even my "reliable" keyboard. I'm pro-r

Yeah its more niche than Gunpla building. I got introduced to Keyboard Building since 2022 when I was building my own computer setup, where I was researching the best keyboard to use and i've got introduced to mechanical keyboard content creators in return that i'm still subbed to them as of this da
