Best non-generic paint colors for a generic kid's room? We're fostering and want it to feel welcoming, calm, and fun. Various genders, ages, and interests so must be universal, but feel unique.
I'd recommend a yoto player over a toniebox. A yoto is essentially a cd player and can play audiobooks as well as music albums. It also has its own daily radio podcast. A great suggestion.

4 year old’s co-sleeping is driving me insane
When you move consider getting something like a Yoto player for her to listen to at bedtime after your usual bedtime routine and she’s tucked in. Works wonders with my limpet kids!

What toys are cool?
Marble runs, magnet tiles, and duplo are a big hit for my 5 year old. For magnet tiles, Make sure to buy a brand name like Picasso tiles or Magnatiles, many inexpensive ones can break and baby might ingest a magnet or small part. Toniebox or Yoto players, Tonie boxes have little figurines like their

Bracelet making while pumping
Oh I love that! Mine is screen based but I make icons for my kid’s Yoto player. I use Pixilart. Every time I pump I pull out my laptop and work on an icon. Then I share them to the Yoto icons site so other people can use them too.

Parents, what were the best first birthday gifts you bought (or received)?
Well, not everything has to be about motor skills. But we do prefer the Yoto player because there are more music and stories that aren’t all based on a character, plus the cards are easier to keep up with and less of a toy.

Help me get myself out of our screentime mess
Your situation sounds so much like mine, down to the second baby, the age gap, the potty training, and the screen time woes. The tantrums got sooooo bad and soooo out of hand that we actually went completely screen free for 6 months. My husband and I only used the tv once the kids were in bed. My so

Belle Tonie is total trash
Team Yoto here. My kids fight over which magic treehouse book/Yoto card they want to listen to at bed. Now my daughter at 7 even back when she was 6 gets out the magic treehouse paperbacks and reads those all by her self. She absolutely loves reading now and we couldn’t be happier. My son is 5 and i

4 year old reading - HELP!
I homeschool (US) two of my kids. I use a program called All About Reading. I think a popular program in the UK is Jolly Phonics since it is based there. Look into literacy boardgames. There's a Facebook group called gameschooling that helps parents find boardgames to assist with learning. My last s

Simple Spotify-connected audio device?
In addition, you can Bluetooth Spotify to the yoto player. That’s what we do for my 4 year old (if we don’t own the content / haven’t made her a custom yoto card). She loves the album art too but is totally fine without. Bonus- we borrow kids audiobooks from the (virtual) library for car trips and i
