Yoto player vs Tonie
The Yoto is so much better. The Tonie figurines become toys and often get separated from the unit. I also didn't love the content. Yoto has a better app and more content that will grow with your kid. The make your own cards are easy to do and fun. Yoto is almost more portable (I wouldn't bother with

How do I tell my 6 year old I’m going to die soon?
I know someone who was battling cancer in her pregnancy and she made it 2 years pp before passing. She made a podcast for her child with lots of letters, stories, memories. You could do something similar with lots of audio recordings and videos. I don’t know how long you have OP, but make as much as

Yoto player vs Tonies, what's better?
Yoto mini. Modern equivalent of the walkman cassette player.

Fellow techy dads: how does the tony box work?
check out the Yoto player, it is essentially the same idea, but with cards instead of figurines. you can make your own cards and load of things you record yourself, or download from YT. maybe having a bunch of figurines is more fun, but it also seems like it will be a big mess, easier to lose, harde

Tonie box?
We ended up getting the yoto - we had a Toniebox for my oldest but as she got older, the Tonies took up so much space, were more expensive and the stories weren’t as long. My youngest has had a yoto player since she was about a year or so, she loves taking it in the car and listening to it.

What have you gifted your 4/5 year olds?
At that age, I would do a Yoto mini instead of a tonie if you are going to do a kids audio player— mostly because it is way easy to travel with and the cards are way easier to store. We got one for my daughter’s fourth birthday, and she is now 5 1/2. It is now basically the only thing we need on air

"Five Nights at Epstein's" video game sweeps US classrooms
They don't? When I was a kid, "good content" meant watching whatever was on the TV at that time, which would be a kids show IF I was lucky. If I was REALLY lucky we might get a VHS tape from the local library - which had a total of 20 movies to choose from, 6 of which were for kids. I watched Das Bo

Which of LAST year’s holiday gifts are your kids still loving?
I can't recommend YOTO players enough. I debated between that and a Tonie box and I'm so glad I went with YOTO. The ability to play any of the YOTO cards in the car via the app on my phone is awesome.

What have you gifted your 4/5 year olds?
My kids have been a fan of Picasso tiles for three years now, they just turned five and still use them every week. Magnet tiles will last, they're also pretty easy to clean up because they all stick together. I wouldn't do a Tonie box at this age, if anything I would get a yoto player, my kids have

The logistics of traveling with a toddler are enough to make me want to stay home until 2035.
not sure if this applies to your trip but no lap baby. Any flight over 3 hours they must have their own seat even if they aren’t always in it the extra space is gonna save your soul. It’s also safer for them -candies tiny toys coloring items. -so many snacks -yoto player. I’m starting a new religion
