Been using XREAL One Pro for months. I'm returning the Beast.

Did you update the firmware? They added a calibration mode to reduce the drift (place on table for 10 seconds before using). Once calibrated, often the screen stays put for several minutes, and then the drift still happens, but much slower than it used to before the update. If you've already got a O

Virtue Beast for productivity

I use my glasses for productivity. Here are the big things to consider. Resolution on all models is 1080p (1200p is just taller). This may not be good enough for you. Birdbath vs prism lenses. I think birdbath is clearer but prism is clear for some people. Software support. There are a few models, X

Honest review of the Beast from someone who loves Viture products so much that I have two other pairs

I'll share some background on my experience. I was super hyped for the Viture Beast. As a loyal Pro XR user, I couldn't wait to see those prism lenses and large FOV in action. I waited a little over two months for the Large beast. I went for the large because my IPD is between 67-68. While the build

For those without an OLED Steam Deck or monitor

I use my Xreal 1S for programming. The screen anchors to a position, so you can freely move your head and look around the screen instead of relying on eye movements. There are definitely some smaller font sizes that don't work well, but generally it doesn't feel any different than looking at a monit

Anyone using display glasses with a SteamDeck on flights or while traveling?

I started with refurb Viture Pro XR but my impression is some people might get motion sickness as it's basically a screen mounted to your eye sight. it captures small and big shakes that goes with traveling. I have now settled with the Xreal One Pro and it has built-in stabilization as well as AI co

Coming from Xreal 1S, I am keeping Viture Beast

I have the 1S, it's not that big a deal as the OP stated. If you are outdoor or indoor with very bright lighting and you are wearing a white shirt - then you will see the reflection. You can easily solved the problem with a 3rd party 3d-printed attachment, or buy the One Pro. To me the highest prior

Yet another comparison question...

You're welcome man. Do what I did, get them from a retailer that accepts returns. I was very skeptical to try the XOP because of what biased people had said on reviews and on here. On paper the VITURES seemed better. But there are some honest people here too who told me the XOP is straight up better

Why don’t they create a “pro” dock with built in immersive 3d?

The inair pod has 3d conversion , so thats debunking your gpu limitations. Also xreal are launcing 1s and it will do 3d conversion on its x1 chip in the glasses, and after that launch the on and one pro xreal glasses will have this also.

The Beast - A honest review from someone who wants(ed) them for productivity

Expectations and primary use case. If you're ok with using it just for media consumption and have it in follow mode I'm sure they're great. Personally I need 3DOF. Also people's vision and tolerance for this display tech is always highly variable. I for one also experienced horrible eye fatigue when

Help deciding between these couple glasses and prices

Hard agree. Luma Pro and Ultra will tie you to software for 3dof and I don't think you want to deal with that. Those are the only ones with myopia dials though so you are definitely looking at adding inserts to the mix. Also the Xreal 1S doesn't have adjustable arms. So I think you mostly want a Bea
