My Viture Beast Impressions as a One Pro Owner

HUGE Thank you for this post. I've learned a lot through your testing, experience, and message. I'm really shocked about the brightness being the same as Xreal when the 3DOF is turned on. That with combination of not having 1200P at launch would have swayed my decision not to pre-order and just wait

Been using XREAL One Pro for months. I'm returning the Beast.

Did you update the firmware? They added a calibration mode to reduce the drift (place on table for 10 seconds before using). Once calibrated, often the screen stays put for several minutes, and then the drift still happens, but much slower than it used to before the update. If you've already got a O

Virtue Beast for productivity

I use my glasses for productivity. Here are the big things to consider. Resolution on all models is 1080p (1200p is just taller). This may not be good enough for you. Birdbath vs prism lenses. I think birdbath is clearer but prism is clear for some people. Software support. There are a few models, X

Coming from Xreal 1S, I am keeping Viture Beast

I have the 1S, it's not that big a deal as the OP stated. If you are outdoor or indoor with very bright lighting and you are wearing a white shirt - then you will see the reflection. You can easily solved the problem with a 3rd party 3d-printed attachment, or buy the One Pro. To me the highest prior

Are Beast issues temporary?

Xreal did 3dof on a glasses chip first. It's expected that it would be more stable. Since they own the chip they are also now updating it to do 2D to 3D on the glasses chip. Their new 1s also advertises 240hz refresh I think? Those things are pretty cool. From what I researched, Viture may be "late

Yet another comparison question...

You're welcome man. Do what I did, get them from a retailer that accepts returns. I was very skeptical to try the XOP because of what biased people had said on reviews and on here. On paper the VITURES seemed better. But there are some honest people here too who told me the XOP is straight up better

Rayneo Pro 4 / Steamdeck

I Like the rayneo glasses, they are fine for gaming or movies but for productivity you have to get glasses with 3dof like Xreal 1S.

The Beast - A honest review from someone who wants(ed) them for productivity

Expectations and primary use case. If you're ok with using it just for media consumption and have it in follow mode I'm sure they're great. Personally I need 3DOF. Also people's vision and tolerance for this display tech is always highly variable. I for one also experienced horrible eye fatigue when

Viture Best alternative without microphone and Camera

All of Viture's newer glasses except the base Luma model have camera sensors to help with spatial tracking. I think the only other "newer" models from a different company I might consider are like the Xreal One Pro or 1S. I don't remember what they're made of though or if they have a microphone. The

Are Beast issues temporary?

You are buying into an emergent technology, so it is to be expected. It seems that XReal is ahead with the 3d0f features and their built in XR chip than Viture is. My buddy got an XReal 1S and it works, I got the Luma Pros, and 3dof is pretty much unusable through their spacewalker software. I agree
