Apparently, starting with the Mi Band 8, you can't configure the buttons on the watchface to open apps. And it definitely doesn't work in the EasyFace editor. Does this work on your version of Mi Band 9?

Next NFC Global Mi Band
Yea I have found out that the Mi Band 7 NFC is the latest one and it is pretty much accessible to get here, but coming from a Mi Band 8 I wouldn't want to downgrade just for the NFC. Let's just hope we get an NFC version of something more recent.

Mii band 9 no longer connecting to Bluetooth
I had the same thing with my Mi Band 8 that is a year old. At first, some data like heart beat weren't synchronized correctly with the Notify app, showing wrong data (1 BPM). I reinstalled the Mi Fit app to make sure it wasn't an app issue. It also showed incorrect data. Then I reset the Mi Band. Af

Mi band 8 doesnt connect
I’m having a similar issue with my Mi Band 8 Active. It worked fine for more than a year, but now it suddenly restarts with all data reset (00:00 01/01) and it won’t connect to the app anymore. The only way to make it connect to my phone and sync again is to reset the band to factory settings first.

Mi Band 9 keeps connecting and disconnecting
facing exactly this on mi band 8, I've tried unpairing then pairing it, even reset it multiple times but can't solve this. Did you find a fix?
