I just finished testing over 20 overnight pulse oximeters against a $1,500 hospital grade pulse oximeter. Here's all the data!
The problem I've had with my Wellue O2Ring is that sometimes I put my arm behind me while I'm asleep (I sleep on my side). If I do that, it impairs my circulation and the ring registers a very low SpO2 which is for sure local, affecting only my arm. So I can't reliably get data on my overall O2 leve

What’s the best O2 Ring? SleepHQ or Wellue?
As far as I can tell, the Wellue O2 Pro is the same ring except the Sleep HQ one has a software tweak that allows it to work with their platform and is a bit more expensive.

Continuous Blood Oxygen Monitor?
I use a cheap Wellue/Viatom Bluetooth clip-on oximeter. Mine cost around $20 from Amazon. There are several that are known to work with OSCAR: https://josepheoff.github.io/posts/morepulseoximeters The biggest positive is that they are cheap. All are available for $30 or less. The biggest negative is

What should I be looking for with Wellvue 02 Ring Data?
I'll be honest, but this is just my experience. For me Wellue O2 Ring vastly underestimated my ODI. I kept feeling worse and it kept giving me high scores; I taped it onto my thumb, but same thing. It has a "smoothing" algorithm I have read. But whatever that does it did not feel like a reflection o

Sleep doctors don’t know about the Nonin BLE 3150 pulse oximeter
Interesting. I used to subscribe to SleepHQ to use with my Wellue O2 rings (I own both ring versions). Got tired of paying $15/month when OSCAR is free, plus the Wellue rings have poor accuracy when I compared them to FDA approved pulse oximeters. I can confirm I lost access to the O2 data on SleepH

pulse oximeters
I use a cheap one - intentionally. Everyone recommends you go with an expensive O2 ring. They are supported by OSCAR and other programs and are well known. I use the cheap one because I wanted something to be available to people who can't afford the expensive O2 rings. I bought a few cheap ones and

Sleep Trackers Wildly Different
I have a Fitbit that I've used for years. Since starting PAP therapy about 18 months ago, I've gotten a Wellue O2 ring (which says it will track sleep stages if you pay a monthly subscription) and some sleep earbuds that also claim to track sleep stages (also at least one phone-based app). I used th

SleepO2 and OSCAR
I have a Wellue O2 ring (the one that take data every second). Yeah, I don't love wearing it at night. At first, I wore it on my thumb because it was less loose there than on a finger. Then I started putting tape on it to make it tighter and ended up moving it to my forefinger. More recently, I've f

AirSense 10: is there a way to get the data out for Oscar, without pulling the SD card out? What about "wifi SD cards"?
Thanks for chiming in. I will definitely keep using OSCAR, at least unless/until the phone app can provide as detailed a report (which I think isn't going to happen, apps usually aren't made for guys who like details). Re: the O2Ring, you mean the one by Wellue, right? I have a more traditional/prim
