Do you think my mental health will improve once I get a CPAP machine? Schizoaffective.
Welcome to the club. Getting diagnosed is a HUGE step, so well done. That’s pretty severe, especially the O2 nadir. Deep sleep is particularly important to the brain, and there are correlations between a lack of deep sleep and developing conditions like dementia. I basically had no deep sleep before

Best overnight pulse oximeter
I use the Wellue O2 ring that does every second. It imports into OSCAR and SleepHQ, which was important to me. These days, I tend to look at the movement chart as much as the O2 chart because it helps me know that I was awake at certain times when looking at my flow rate chart. Do I need it? Probabl

Can you die in your sleep?
Not the guy you asked, but I use a Wellue O2ring oximeter.https://a.co/d/8uC7j97 works wonderfully, you can also import its data to SleepHQ if that's someting you use.

How do you know you're actually getting enough oxygen with CPAP? Is it possible you're partially suffocating even at 0 AHI but you but you don't know it?
I wear a Wellue O2 ring every night (except for last night when the cat distracted me right when I was about to put it on). It imports into OSCAR and SleepHQ. Most of the time, the data isn't that interesting, but I like to use the movement data to help me recognize when I turn over, or when an even

Should I change my BPAP settings? Timing, trigger, sensitivity
One of the mods here had me adjust my timing to 3.2. Your EPAP pressure looks to low though that seems to be the case on your waveforms not fully developed, kind of shitty to see the sleep tech didn't catch that. Some CA present, I would ask Mod RL for an asv your pressure doesn't look high enough t

Should I get a Wellue O2ring?
I purchased the Wellue O2 Ring while going through diagnosis / titration process, and waiting (almost 10 months!) to get a machine. It was helpful to me to discover massive and lengthy drops in my O2 levels while sleeping. I was trying to use that data to push my (former) sleep doc along, and get an

Best overnight pulse oximeter
Hey there. Short answer: Yes, it is absolutely worth it for checking your CPAP therapy, and you are asking the exact right questions. I actually just spent the last couple of months testing 20 different overnight O2 monitors (including both the regular O2Ring and the O2Ring S) side-by-side against a

Wellue O2 ring v SleepHQ O2 ring pro?
The Wellue O2Ring sync’s seamlessly with the SleepHQ iOS app. I have the O2Ring-S too and unfortunately the SleepHQ app can’t detect it. So I’ll have to do a manual csv import if I want to see O2 data in SleepHQ.

Any opinions on SleepHQ?
Some people in the SleepHQ community also wear an O2 Ring on finger that gathers time-stamped pulse and O2 saturation percentage while they sleep. The data will load/import into free OSCAR app or the SleepHQ app. Be sure CPAP clock time is accurate. That way all the data from CPAP and O2 Ring aligns

Sleep Trackers Wildly Different
I have a Fitbit that I've used for years. Since starting PAP therapy about 18 months ago, I've gotten a Wellue O2 ring (which says it will track sleep stages if you pay a monthly subscription) and some sleep earbuds that also claim to track sleep stages (also at least one phone-based app). I used th
