Did I mess up and get the wrong thing for Christmas?! 😫

If she just wants an upgrade from the ipad that needs to be standalone, another option is a Wacom Movink Pad 11. It's an android tablet specifically made for artists with better reviews than the Huion slate.

Wacom MovinkPad 11 announcement megathread

So, I just received it today. A few quick impressions: I had concerns about the size, compared to my iPad Pro 13. I think the smaller form factor makes sense, since it advertised as a sketchpad. It does appear to be slightly thinner than my iPad. I personally prefer the drawing experience of the Mov

Need help deciding which tablet to buy for drawing and taking notes at uni

If only looking at these two? Ipad any day. The lenovo machine is not good enough for drawing. But, you might wanna look at the Wacom movinkpad 11, it's at 450 usd. Or the XP-pen magic pad at 400 usd. The Wacom and the xp-pen are both android tablets. The pen come in the box, no extra purchase. The

I'm thinking of starting a webtoon but don't have a PC

XPPen makes a Magic Drawing Pad Version 2 that's full-functioning Anrdoid tablet. I'm not recommending it, just saying it exists. But you'll also need to purchase software/ apps, possibly via subscription, to use on Android, unless you're okay with the limitations of the free ones.Edit: It's $400-50

Standalone Tablet For Drawing: Wacom VS Huion VS XP Pen

Performance-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE & S10 FE measures at least 2x the power of the Helio G99 CPU that's used in all 3 of the options you listed. The S-pen uses the same underlying tech as the Wacom One, and is even compatible with all pens that work on the Wacom One series. The only downs

Wacom MovinkPad 11 announcement megathread

Bought the 11 inch Wacom MovinkPad 11 from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. Here are some of my quick thoughts after using it for several hours. (I am a hobbyist artist. I have been using Procreate on a IPad Pro M4 for a couple years and Rebelle 7 Pro on an Apple Studio M4 with a Wacom Cintiq for se

Questions about the MovinkPad Pro 14 and how it compares to the M5 iPad Pro

Yes, Wacom is required to provide 5 years of security updates past the sale of the final unit per EU law. This was a new law that went into effect a few months prior to its release, and emails have been exchanged with Wacom where they verified there would be future OS and security updates. Another u

Movinkpad 11 vs Pro 14 — Value for the Cost?

11-inch is around an A5 size sketchbook. 14-inch is about A4-size. If your hands don't cramp when drawing on A5 size paper, not sure why they won't cramp when drawing on the tablet. 11-inch is definitely not big enough for CSP with all the UI elements unless you use CSP's Simple Mode for tablet inte

iPad Air? XPPen? Movinkpad Pro? Surface Pro?? What do you like?

Right now MovinkPad Pro 14 and MovinkPad 11 probably have best pen performance. Followed by Samsung and IPad are evenly matched. These two have extra OS features that Wacom does not have, but those don't affect drawing. Xppen Magic Drawing Pad is missing pen tilt. Full super long reviews here https:

Looking for a drawing tablet

Most will need a budget before recommendations. But from me - Wacom for drawing feel - thinking the Movinkpad 11, I've got the 14 but it's fairly pricey yet cheaper than an iPad Pro. Runs every Android app going. XPPen Magic Drawing Pad - for just generally appearing to be the best in customer servi
