who should i buy from to start a great custom keyboard?

The Monsgeek M1 family are splendid, as is the MK pro 75 from Microcenter's house brand Inland. The M1 has better stabs, the Inland has a much better gasket mount. I would have said that you can't go wrong with Keychron but I have been seeing reports of abusive customer support lately. The Yunzii AL

Keyboard Customization Help - Neo 80 CU

I would get something cheap to play around with and get an idea for what you want. Apart from specific brands that provide alternate plates and things there's not much mix-and-match capoability except for the specific case of 60% "GH60" or "Pok3r" boards that have a standard tray mount and USB port

just got these keycaps…

OK, a straight 60% or TKL will also work. This collection of Pok3r components will let you assemble a lovely little 60% hotswap QMK board in a wooden or aluminum red or coffee case.

Does the Gateron GT60 Pro PCB fit in a Wooting 60HE case?

If they are both Pok3r-mount tray-mount boards, absolutely. If not, probably not. The Gateron GT60 appears to have Pok3r (GH60) style mounting points. https://kbdfans.com/products/kbdfans-x-gateron-gt60-pro-gaming-keyboard-kit The Wooting 60HE also seems to be Pok3r-style. https://wooting.io/wooting

rate my keyboard (don't go harsh it's my first build)

Is the case GH60/Pok3r compatible? Might want to replace the PCB if it is with something running QMK and get mod-tap arrows.

60% standard iso layout pcb+plate?

Ranked Nova N60 ISO layout is a surprisingly nice cheap board. There are a number of universal hotswap PCBs with ISO support. YMDK DK61, DKKB DK6064, Y&R 6095. Probably the YMDK is the best option: you can get the DK61 configured for ISO and it will work in any Pok3r-compatible case like the Tofu 60

First Time Driver Entry issue

That's not like someone is actually shipping HE boards with open source software. I might be interested in a Pok3r-compatible HE board, especially if it's compatible with the GMMK silent panda HE switches. Not a 65% that only fits the Bakeneko... and your second link is just to the sub.

Is my keyboard dying?

I really like Skyloong's boards, just because they're willing to do unconventional stuff like (in this case) the split spacebar. Though after playing with it for a while I've gone back to a single spacebar. I wish they'd do split backspace. Split backspace is MUCH more useful. Also, on this board th

Which wood keyboard to buy would you recommend ?

Another option is to build a 60% from parts in a Pok3r/GH60 case, which is what I did for my home and work boards: https://imgur.com/OJAqBwv Parts list and suggestions: https://github.com/ArgentStonecutter/keyboards/tree/main/layouts/yr6095

Buying recommendation: 60%, wired+BT, QMK compatible

CIDOO QK61 is probably exactly what you need. I haven't seen an AP2 but I have mine set up with tap-and-hold arrow keys so it should be able to do what you want. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8VMD3P3 $60 with a 15% instant coupon. I think the AP2 is Pok3r-compatible, no? If you are feeling adventurou
