I have a Tribit StormBox Blast and I really like it. It gets pretty loud and is pretty cheap.

Just one note with the Uboom L, they lose quite a bit of bass at higher levels and have reasonably good bass at normal levels, but nowhere near subwoofer level. More like a good 5.25" bookshelf speaker. Then again most speakers that size also have the same issue. Their real strength is their neutral

Between the two, I'd take the Onn Large Party gen2 over the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus, it's just overall better sounding with a much smother frequency response as you can see in the reviews linked on that page. Besides that I think spending the extra $10 for the Tribit Stormbox Blast over the Soundcore

Two totally different size categories. I have a set of the Onn Large party speakers and think they are good for the $ but bulky and cumbersome to haul around. I liked them but didn’t keep them. Ended up with 2 tribit storm box blasts, and two soundcore motion 300s that I run in stereo pairs depending on what I need. I absolutely love those speakers. The boom 2 was good but it didn’t fit in to what I needed/wanted for my use. Still good though.
