If you haven't, head over to the NAD website and read the whitepaper on the amp. It uses NADs "power drive", which is really unique. In short: there is more power on tap than NAD reports in their measurements. It is an incredibly beefy amp with plenty of dynamic power on tap - it can hit 170 watts a

It's interesting because I though I wouldn't like the laid back sound profile, but it's become what I prefer and look for. Hours and hours of fatigue-free listening! But I grant they aren't for everyone. I have a pair of Triangle Borea BR04 that I adore as well, but their upper end is more "there" a

Just note that at least BR03 is rather bright sounding speaker. I would expect BR04 and BR08 be the same. Some people like the bright sound, but many people find it tiring. But you are buying them for yourself — only you need to like their sound. EAC review of Triangle Borea BR03, ASR review

I have the front ported Triangle Borea BR04 and I like them very much. You will need a stand if they’re going to sound right. I do also have a pair of JBL 550 self powered subwoofers that do all the heavy lifting on the bass below 80 Hz. All the speakers were purchased open box or on close out which

Both are fantastic and they seem like a match made in heaven. The Wiim Amp Ultra really brings out the bass of the Triangle BR04!

Just not 2/3k euros can mean also it can be more expensive :D If you are looking at cheap, then Triangle BR04 is very well reviewed too. Also, some ELAC and Wharfendales are usually recommended at around 1K.
