Software. Before the 9 Peak Pro, Suunto's desktop software, mobile app, and watch firmware have all been very sub-par. Garmin's Connect platform is mature, offers deep data analysis, has a developer platform allowing 3rd-party developers to build apps for Garmin watches, and robust social features.

Do not go there, Suunto has almost as many bugs as Amazfit. Hardware is great, but software is 10 years behind. I mostly use Apple WU3, but I have tried Garmin (FR965, Venu 2, Venu 3, Venu 4), Coros (Pace 3, Pace 4), Suunto (Vertical 2, Run) and Amazfit (Balance, Balance 2, Helio Strap, Helio Ring).
