I would beg to differ having used Garmin, Coros and currently using Vertical 2. Suunto is much deeper in analysis than Coros. Coros does nothing for trail or ultrarunning. Not even Climbpro or trail VO2 Max. Coros will only let you make one run and one trail run profile. On Suunto you can make endle

I used Garmin for 8 yrs, most of them re Instinct. My last device was Crossover Amoled. The physical hand broke so I sold it. I just bought Suunto Vertical 2 and here are my thougts. Vertical 2 screen is big and easy to read. The buid quality is superb. There are much less watch faces on Suunto and

My sportwatch evolution has been quite a ride: Apple Watch > Fenix 7 > Tactix 7 > Vertix 2 > Fenix 7X Pro > Fenix 8 > Vertix 2S > Race 2 > Vertical 2. In my experience, Garmin has become increasingly overpriced. Their lineup is cluttered with lifestyle features I rarely touch, and even the OS on the

Dont even try with "smartwatches" for sport activties, they are very bad at it, not to mention the battery. Had samsung watch 7, pure garbage GPS acuracy, HR sometimes good sometimes bad. But the battery , damn was that awfull, 2 days maximum. If you want an accurate HR you need to use a belt anyway

It's preference really, Coros and Suunto are so close to each other about how everything works. Training and sports are the main focus for both. Suunto just has much more experience and that shows in features. Just returned from Coros Apex 4 back to Vertical 2. And it wasn't cause Coros was bad, I j

If you want a smart watch buy a garmin, if you want a sport watch consider suunto ;) Garmin watches are more customizable, provide more data, but I don’t think they are better. I would say that for someone interested in sport, how the body works, how training must be done suunto is really good. Tsb

I have the Vertical 2 and the Coros Nomad. Both of them are great watches for sports tracking. If you are not going to wear it everyday, just for sports activities I would go for the Coros because it's cheaper and offers the same or maybe slightly more metrics and customisation. Suunto build quality

I owned the Fenix 8, and I just switched to the Vertical 2. Here’s my thoughts. Getting the watch you want depended on what my primary use case was. The Fenix 8 is more powerful, more feature rich, and provides more data, but I found a lot of drawbacks for me personally. I primarily use the watches

Well, I used the Race 2 for a month after coming from a Coros Pace 3. So: in terms of hardware, or hardware design, the improvement was massive — the Race 2 feels industrial, modern, robust, yet simple and elegant. It’s a 10–0 win over the Pace 3. The app: I really like the Coros app and its simplic
