I would beg to differ having used Garmin, Coros and currently using Vertical 2. Suunto is much deeper in analysis than Coros. Coros does nothing for trail or ultrarunning. Not even Climbpro or trail VO2 Max. Coros will only let you make one run and one trail run profile. On Suunto you can make endle

I just replaced my fenix 7x with a vertical 2 and must say so far it's fine. I really miss Garmin Pay but on the other hand I wanted to quit paying with an American payment provider anyway. Sleep tracking is okay for me, somewhat different then Garmin but neither are perfectly accurate anyway. I use

Just moved to the Vertical 2 from the Ultra. Loving it! Never realized just how terrible Apple’s battery life is until I switched. Much easier to control notifications on Suunto as well

I’ve been a die-hard Garmin user for the last 6–7 years, moving through the Forerunner series and most recently the Enduro 2. Yesterday, I officially made the jump and sold my Enduro 3. I’m still getting used to the Suunto Vertical 2, but I don’t regret the switch for a second. The UI is incredibly

I think that the Vertical, especially the solar version is still a compelling option in 2025, even now with the release of the Race 2 and Vertical 2. As both of the second generation watches are very similar to each other (largely boils down to the presence of a rotating crown, the flashlight, and v

Dont even try with "smartwatches" for sport activties, they are very bad at it, not to mention the battery. Had samsung watch 7, pure garbage GPS acuracy, HR sometimes good sometimes bad. But the battery , damn was that awfull, 2 days maximum. If you want an accurate HR you need to use a belt anyway

For general use, battery life, even at it's worst, is still measured in weeks on the Race and Vertical series. With the Race S having the worst battery life since it is the smallest model and the Vertical Solar having the best because the verticals have larger batteries in addition to the solar. The

Hi ! I'm surprised to see the Vertix 2S on your list. I got it, and honestly it's really outdated: interface not smooth, few new features, and a price too high for what it offers today. And even for autonomy, it no longer really has any advantage. For less money, the Suunto Vertical 2 does much bett

This was my thoughts too. I have no need for a speaker and mic on a watch... Like most I actively avoid speaking to people on my phone. It'll be another device id have to pretend I didn't see! I was waiting for the apex4 as I needed something with battery and nav. But Im not sure the direction coros

The Race, Race S, and Vertical would be great choices if you want could affordable options. Of the three I would focus the most on the Race and Race S. The S is a smaller version of the Race, It's not as durable and doesn't have as good of a battery life but it has updated sensors. The Race 2 draws
