New to Suunto - Disappointed
I was a long time Garmin user. I realized that I don't care about all that data anymore. Now I enjoy the simplicity of the Suunto run watch. I just run and enjoy... I don't need technology to tell me how I slept and how I feel.

New to Suunto - Disappointed
Suunto Run user since the last 2 months. Long time Garmin user before. Yes the HR is not great if the watch is loose in your wrist which for most is the case when sleeping or out of workouts. I found the OHR to be very accurate (more than my Garmin's that I considered pretty good) if it's fitted mor

Suunto Run, is it better than Garmin 165 or Coros Pace 3?
As someone already tried 3 Brands (Garmin, Coros & Suunto) here's my high level review and ranking from Top-Bottom: Coros Pace 3 (or better Pace 4) PROS: Complete training load / status. Fitness test to update HR and Pace Zone. Training Plans built in. EvoLab Website. Simple and Straightforward Phon

Navigation screen
Suunto Run doesn't support downloaded maps. Some other Suunto watches do have map support, but not Run.

How accurate do you find the running technique measurements?
I own a Suunto Run watch and a Stryd 5.0 foot pod. The avg. Vertical Oscillation from Suunto Run is usually around 9-10cm, but avg. Vertical Oscillation from the Stryd pod is always closer to 6cm. The Ground Contact Time from Suunto Run is usually 250-260ms, but Stryd shows 290-300ms. The Stryd valu

Did I make the right choice? - Suunto Run
I changed from Garmin 165 to Suunto Run and I don't see me going back to Garmin.

Updates 😇🔺
Hopes are high! There’s several features I’d love to see implemented specially in the Race series (I have a race S) Heart rate settings to allow for HRR and LTHR. Suunto Run already does this so I HOPE they bring it. Gear tracking! Such a small thing that’s super nice to have so I don’t have to use

Suunto Run Watch
I’ve had the Coros Pace 2, 3 and, most recently, the Suunto Run. In terms of build quality, the Suunto is certainly much more stylish and of a higher standard. However, I find that the analysis and presentation of sports data – and, above all, the overall simplicity – of the Coros is superior. If yo

Interesting Article on Pace 4’s Probable Price Point
I can’t see it being above $249. The competition is the Apple Watch SE, Forerunner 165 and Suunto Run — all three MSRP is $249. The target market at this price range doesn’t care about maps. They are price sensitive so an extra $30 would mean a huge loss in sales to their competitors.

Did I make the right choice? - Suunto Run
I’ve had the Suunto Run for several months now and have no complaints for it or the app. Does all I need for simply tracking and recording my training.
