Looking for a Dive Computer That’s Also Daily-Wear Friendly
Garmin descent g2, more budget friendly than the fenix 8 or descent mk2/3 if you want in to the Garmin world. Suunto ocean, cheaper than the fenix and mk2/3 but more premium than the g2 as has colour screen etc. The above will give you amazing battery life, I have a mk3i and get about a month out of

Entry-level Dive computer/watch recommendations
You're requirement to also have a dive computer that is also a suitable everyday watch limits your options, and, in most cases, brings you towards the higher end of the budget spectrum. The recommendations you see in this thread all represent good dive computers (Shearwater Tern, Garmin MK and G ser

Apple Watch Ultra 3 or Cheap Dive Computer?
If you're at Fenix8's price point already, you could, for a bit less, get a Suunto Ocean/Shearwater Tern or for a bit more Garmin Mk2/Mk3/Shearwater Teric and have a proper dive computer? Or, also cheaper, the oft-mentioned Peregrine (although you wouldn't have a watch with that one)

Starting to lose my love for Shearwater
I know everyone is saying Suunto CS is bad and all that but I had an old Vyper somehow give up on me. We contacted Suunto and they mentioned the device was 12 years old. They offered me a D5 for £280 with free shipping. Their response has been quick and easy. My wife is using the D5 now. I use a Gar

Baby diver who just finished his basic Open Water Diver looking for advice
I'd argue that the Suunto Ocean does all of that for almost a third of the price...

Dive Computer help... Overspending!
The Suunto Ocean is a really great dive computer. but if you're not going to dive more it would be a total waste of money. 500 is a really good deal though, so perhaps you can bribe yourself by making a deal. If you get this, you're gonna have to dive more. At least every year, preferrably more.

Thinking about buying a dive computer — Suunto Nautic — worth it with a 40 % discount?
Yeh, im the same, and my Suunto Ocean does all the same stuff as the Garmin mk3 except for the technical diving stuff and only cost me €500. The Garmin is €1650

Dive Watch or Dive Computer – Which One Makes More Sense?
I love my suunto ocean. It's not cheap but tracks all of my exercises and it IS a dive computer

Looking for new Dive Computer
I highly recommend the Suunto Nautica S, which is a cheaper version of the Suunto Ocean, but with less non-diving aspects (sport stuff). Be aware that the Suunto Ocean and Nautica use the same Buhlman Z-16 algorithm as Garmin and Shearwater - they do NOT use the Suunto RGBM algorithm for calculating
