New watch recommendations?

I'm loving the new Google Health app and the Fitbit Air that arrived today. I wouldn't let reddit effect my decision, it's an echo chamber for people with little social outlets. I also have a suunto Ocean, which is a beast of a thing, and I adore it. But I only wear it for specific activities... It

Thinking about buying a dive computer — Suunto Nautic — worth it with a 40 % discount?

Been diving (and doing sports) with my Suunto Ocean for a year or two now, never had the slightest issues. Afaik the Nautic is similar to the ocean except that it's diving only focused whereas the Ocean is a dive computer with multi sports support. Did all the shenanigans, different gasses, bottle t

Baby diver who just finished his basic Open Water Diver looking for advice

I will second the the Suunto Ocean, it is a good dive computer that will do anything you need as a recreational diver. If you want something to take you even further, the Suunto Nautic or Nautic S. The Nautic computers will take you past the recreational stages. The Ocean can be used every day as a

Beginner Dive Computer

Personally, I’m keen on the Suunto Ocean. Dive Computer first. Air Integration options for later when I get personal regs. Plus tons of multisport tracking and training features too. 3-5 weeks of service on one charge, too. So just need to charge it about 12-20 times a year. That’s fair enough to do

Diving computer

As a few others have said I'd recommend the Suunto Ocean. I've had mine for over a year and put about 15 dives on it. For me, the watch style of a computer was important given that I also enjoy Spearfishing /free diving. I also wear it as my daily watch and very happy with it.

Do you use a bike computer or smartwatch?

What watch are you using? Mine has no trouble, even when connected to an HR strap and power pedals. (Suunto Ocean) I have a mount to wrap my watch around the handle bars. Works well.

Ask for diving computer recommandations

Suunto Ocean... It's a dive computer, a fitness tracker, has gps maps for navigation on land... The stand out feature is the dive mapping, it's such a great function that other computers don't have. Also, they use the same algorithm as Shearwater and Garmin...

Intermediate Scuba Diver, Dive Computer Advice

The Suunto Nautic S is so new there aren't enough user reviews around on the Internet. However, it's primarily a dive computer and lacks all the sports smartwatch features like the Garmin Descent G2 (not D2) or the Suunto Ocean. This is something you might want to consider. Personally I prefer dive

Apple Watch Ultra 2 with Oceanic+ switched to snorkel mode mid dive at 20m

Well, the AWU is retired. I just bought a Suunto Ocean for daily wear and casual diving. It won over the others as it does all my other sports and it uses the same tank pod as my EON Steel. That problem is solved 😊

Thinking about buying a dive computer — Suunto Nautic — worth it with a 40 % discount?

Yeh, im the same, and my Suunto Ocean does all the same stuff as the Garmin mk3 except for the technical diving stuff and only cost me €500. The Garmin is €1650
