Do not buy the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Oceanic +

Except Garmin right? ... Right? I think most people have a lot of positives to say about other Many-In-One watches like the Suunto Ocean, Garmin Descents/Fenix 8. It's just that Apple has tried to fly too close to the sun with this watch.

Thinking about buying a dive computer — Suunto Nautic — worth it with a 40 % discount?

Been diving (and doing sports) with my Suunto Ocean for a year or two now, never had the slightest issues. Afaik the Nautic is similar to the ocean except that it's diving only focused whereas the Ocean is a dive computer with multi sports support. Did all the shenanigans, different gasses, bottle t

Seasoned diver who hasn’t dove in over a decade… what gear is good these days?

Get your gear serviced. Cylinders, regs, and BCD. Go have a look at computers. Computers have come a long way in the last few years. Not so long since the trend in my club was the Oceanic Geo 4 that bluetoothed to your phone to do all sorts. My new Suunto Ocean completely blows it out of the water.

Dive Computer help... Overspending!

I’ll play devil’s advocate! I’m a test diver for a scuba magazine, and have gotten to dive a lot of computers. The Suunto Ocean is a joy to dive; the i330r is…not. I’d definitely swap them if it were me. The price point and marketing for the i330r make it really appealing to new divers, but it’s not

Diving computer

As a few others have said I'd recommend the Suunto Ocean. I've had mine for over a year and put about 15 dives on it. For me, the watch style of a computer was important given that I also enjoy Spearfishing /free diving. I also wear it as my daily watch and very happy with it.

which computer should i get

Cannot go wrong with either. I have the Suunto ocean and could not be happier. Shearwater has been the go to for years now but Suunto is not worse.

Thinking about buying a dive computer — Suunto Nautic — worth it with a 40 % discount?

Yeh, im the same, and my Suunto Ocean does all the same stuff as the Garmin mk3 except for the technical diving stuff and only cost me €500. The Garmin is €1650

Garmin transmitter: T1 vs T2?

Garmin are great! TBH, a lot of people rattle on about dive computers and there's often a bit of pretentious notions about them. Most of them do a great job. I've a Suunto Ocean and love it.

Diving with Apple Watch Ultra 2 - my experience

I disagree, the smart watch dive computers like the Garmin mk2 or 3 as well as the suunto ocean are both great do everything smart watches and great dive computers. Yea there expensive but no more so than buying a good dive computer and good smart watch separately. What exactly don't you like about

Suunto Ocean as a daily watch

Alright, the Ocean would be pretty good then. There are some drawbacks, like with the firmware releases being delayed when compared to the other watches. I also don't really use strava so I can't comment on that. Now I bought the Ocean with the aspiration of going diving, but health issues are keepi
