I feel mislead.

You can fix it, kinda, just by turning off hands-free in your PC settings, but it would be better just to buy a standalone mic with this headset. If you wanted it all in one package you should’ve spent the extra hundred dollars on the steel series nova elite

What are the best wireless gaming headsets people actually stick with?

I use the Steel Series Arctis Nova Pros. Sound quality is excellent, the mic sounds good, and it comes with some pretty easy-to-understand software. I have a large head and ears, and I have no complaints about the fit. Edit: I tried the Arctis Nova Elites. Although they're outside of your budget, I

Maxwell 2 is out soon so might want to have an eye on that. I have the Steelseries Arctis Nova Elite and it truly is

Which headset to buy?

I personally use the SteelSeries Wireless Arctis Nova Elite. They are an AMAZING Pare of Headset, but they are Pricey. They are $600 Dollars before Taxes and add taxed to that. easily another 50$ I've had mine for a while and love them. Especially because you can have up to 4 different sounds open.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova EliteYouTube it. Head to head with the Maxwell on sound, better interface and functionality.Even more $$$ (price is ridiculous).(However, I'm keeping my Maxwells).
