My third pair of Maxwells just failed. Give me some alternatives.

If I was gonna go wireless again I would just get a refurbished pair of Maxwells. The only wireless set that gets anywhere near them is the SteelSeries Nova Elites and I'm not paying £600 for worse sound quality.

Audeze Maxwell vs Arctis Nova Pro

Agreed. As someone who has tried all the brands steel series to me has the worst sound quality. I prefer the maxwells, a50 gen 5's, and stealth pros to the nova pro's and nova elites.

Maxwell 2?

I tested a few headsets recently due to issues with the maxwell (some really weird compatibility problem with maxwell and my laptop). I now am using a maxwell headset with an antlion wireless modmic and the combination is gorgeous. The steel series Nova Elite is barely an upgrade from the pro and I

Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2!!

I have these and just wanna say that they rival my SteelSeries Nova Elite’s. My only issue is I wish there was a bit more volume overhead (going louder), as there is a significantly lower volume with ANC off. With ANC on, it does get a bit louder. Also, in the app, the headphones correctly reflect t

Currently have Astro A50 gen 5. Should I get Maxwell 2 XBox instead?

Just another thought on this video, but it's yet another video where the Nova Elite gets reviews that are basically that it's good not great. Which is insane because it's $600, which outprices even Apple's ludacrisly expensive AirPods Max. I feel like Steel Series really needed that thing to be the

Are Nova elites worth the upgrade if I trade in my Nova pro wireless?

I'll hand it to them, the design and feel of the headset is hands down top of the line quality. The hinges are thick metal, and feel hefty, and they take a bit of effort to twist into place. Problem is they sound awful out of the box, so for me, that's a deal breaker. I want a headset to come out of

I will buy audeze maxwell. Is DOLBY ATMOS important?

I would say that the introduction of ultra low latency LC3 codec is now blurring the lines between audio headphones and gaming headsets. Assuming the next iteration of the Maxwells would try to compete with the likes of the Steel Series Arctis Nova Elite's and the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro's (the Maxw

Arctis Nova Elite sticky plastic soft-touch

Nova Elite is definitely not worth the price just to have the same build and only a little bit more audio quality. I’m a SteelSeries fan. I have the Nova 7 and Nova Pro. I tried the Nova Elite and I don’t think it’s worth that high price. What annoyed me the most about this headset is, how they’re c

Worth the upgrade to the new a50x headset from a 2014 a40 with tr mix amp?

Astro A40s are the best period. ive has these since 2019 and they have been great. i use it for various tasks. i play games, i can play Arc Raiders and hear footsteps from a player in Call of duty lol. My friends have steel series and i can hear stuff they cant. they rely on me for call outs and im

Nova Elite = WOW

"far more control" How so? I've had both the Nova Pro and Arctis Nova Pros, the new software is awful (SteelSeries GG is shit compared to the old software, they took away a load of customisation & control), and these don't use anything different, right? So saying "far more control" just sounds like
