Looking for good chair options for under $200
Racing style gaming chairs are functionally worthless, they are designed for vehicles that go really fast, and people like them because they are cool looking. Also the fact most all of these chairs have a hard seat, cheap foam and don’t last more than a few years GTRacing being one of the main offen

What's a good desk chair?
Everyone preaches Herman Miller chairs as the best be all be all. They are hella expensive though. I found a Steelcase chair, think it was the leap model on fb marketplace for $150, and I love it. Super comfy. I’m a about 275 and it’s comfy and feels very sturdy

suggest me a good ergonomic chair for petite women please
Not the steelcase amia, I will say that. I have it and although the seat is really comfy and got rid of pain in my tailbone, the seat is also too big and wise and I end up sitting with my knees to my chest just to be comfortable enough. I think its just made for bigger people. I am 5 foot.

Refurbished Leap V2 from Crandall
I would say the pads are thicker than what steelcase includes with their standard cushion. The crandall cushion is still on the firmer side but I think it will wear in with more use. I sat in the work chairs when they were 3 years old and I remember the chairs being very comfortable and supportive.

Chair
After me spending rm600 for a gaming chair i thought i save money until it only lasted me 1year+ with failed hydraulics, noisy wheels and creaking noise everywhere, bottom cushion sunk so bad my tailbone was touching the steel frame. I settled with steelcase think v2 haha. Totally worth and still fe

Waking up with back pain
Just as a sidetone on this,. sometimes the cause of back pain (or in my case, sciatica) can be quite subtle. About 3 years ago I had a major ilife change and quit my job and basically threw away all my belongings and car-tripped moving cross country from Colorado to Oregon. While I took "only what w

Is the Herman Miller embody worth the ~2k price tag.
I've gotten to sit in a lot of them and the embody is extremely comfortable, don't get me wrong, but if you want something to keep you from hunching, you're probably going to need something with more aggressive lumbar support. I'd recommend the aeron or the steelcase leap because of that exact reaso

desk chair recs for petite women? (specifically for criss-cross sitters!)
It kinda looks like an Aeron! That seat edge is what I had a problem with when sitting crossed. It dug into my legs quite a bit. My husband loves the Aeron though so it really seems to be a polarizing kind of chair lol. SteelCase makes good shit, I don't think I'll need to replace my Amia any time s

Leap V2 for $100
I might give it to the Amia by a small margin. Feels solid and comfortable, I do wish it had more recline but I think all Steelcase products offer a similar level of recline. Leap just has the back that curves. I would love a good headrest for it - one that doesn't involve drilling the back.

Question for Honda employees
I have a aeron at my current job but it just isn't as comfortable. I think it is the difference between the aeron and the chair that I had at Honda is the cushioned vs mesh chair seat. They basically had the same adjustment options but the cushion is so much more comfortable to me than the mesh with
