How do I get an ADA Accommodation to wear one earbud in at work where it is ON PAPER, unsafe to do so, but IN PRACTICE is safe, and necessary for ME?

I'm not sure you'll be able to bypass safety rules as an ADA disability accommodation. Disability accommodations are meant to allow you to do your job as if you're not disabled; they don't allow you to alter requirements of your job. I'm guessing your management will say that following safety rules

Suche Empfehlung für Kopfhörer beim Radfahren.

Warum will man beim Radfahren Noise-Cancelling haben? Bist du lebensmüde? Ich fahre entweder einseitig mit einem In-Ear oder beidseitig mit einem Open-Ear (Soundcore V20i), sodass ich gerade nicht abgeschirmt bin

What earbuds do you guys wear for cleaning?

Anker soundcore v20i They hook around the ear and are open ear so they don't block out environmental sounds. Not ideal for vacuuming but that's been their only drawback for me

Soundcore R50i NC or V20i Open-Ear?

V20i. The thing about in ears eh it blots out noise. You need to hear specially while jogging at night. So, either V20i or clipbuds from Soundcore.

Open ear buds have changed my work day

Totally agree! 💯 I bought Anker Soundcore V20i, because my closed earbuds were giving my ears a weird irritation. I had a very similar reaction. It's a game changer. I still hear my podcast or music, but I can also hear my coworkers and equipment. Plus, they have an app that allows the highest degre

Boreas Stray Dogs - General Question and Discussion Megathread

I use their V20i open ear ear buds, even they sounds very bassy. I have an idea why they did that, many people, especially those buying at entry level and budget prices, associate sound quality with bass response. My EQ curve on the soundcore app looks like this, with lows cut and highs boosted. Sti

Get bone conducting headphones for masking.

I did this for about 6 hours a day for the better part of a year. I used shokz and there are other good alternatives that don't block ambient sounds like Tozo Earrings or SoundCore V20i. For me the key was to not drown out the T, but play nature sounds at just below the volume of the T. This helped

New Workout Over-ear Headphone Recs?

I use a pair of Soundcore V20i, and I love them. They go over your ears, but don't insert, thus allowing you to have some situational awareness.

Which Shokz headphones should I get?

FWIW, there are open air traditional headphones that also allow you to hear ambient sounds. I just got a pair, Anker Soundcore v20i, and can hear what's around me, plus they're pretty decent headphones and fairly secure as they have adjustable rubberized hooks that go around the tops of your ears. I

Best open-ear earbuds for running? (Clip vs Hook)

I actually ran with the Soundcore v20i open-ear earbuds for the first time today, I'm thrilled! The sound of the music is great, the awareness of the surrounding sound is great, I was afraid they would fall out of my ears, but the headphones never moved, in the end I forgot to take them off, I didn'
