Help me choose: Px7 S3 vs. WH-1000XM6 (also considering Bose QC Ultra & AirPods Max USB-C) — iPhone-only listener, travel + desk use

#Need real-world feedback - considering returning Sony XM6

I'd love some real-world feedback while I consider returning my XM6. I used to have AirPods Max (lightning port) that I sold due to its weight and port as I try to move to a USB-C only setup. I couldn't stand the case and the weight.

I am

I was spending way too much time on my phone, so I went out and got another one...

Side question: How do you like the Sony WH-1000XM6? I have the XM4 version and can't figure out from reviews if the noise-passthrough mode and ANC are noticeably better? The XM3 noise-passthrough mode is really bad, wheres the Jabra Evolve65 Flex (call headset) for example makes it sound like im not

Switching from Bose QC Ultra 2 and getting WH XM6

I have a big head so I just found the xm6 uncomfortable overall. The top headband felt uncomfortable after using them for a decent amount of time. The WC XLs helped a lot on the clamping force, but it still felt uncomfortable. I prefer the heavier bass that I got when I had tried the Bose before. I

Vad är bra over ear hörlurar?

Current Sony XM6 owner, looking to upgrade, budget less than $700

I owned the AirPods Max, XM6, and now the Bowers Px8S2. The Bowers are by FAR the better sounding. By a significant margin. Not just better balanced and more detailed, it’s just overall more musical and separates vocals and instruments in a way that I’ve never heard from a headphone before. It’s bro

What headphones would suit a drummer?

Big mistake of you to think ANC will help in the case of recording drums in a music studio. ANC isn't speedy enough to react to loud transients like a snare drum hit with a drum stick (or two) - not even Sony wh-1000xm6 will have a chance despite having the market best & most advanced ANC. What you

Bose QC Ultra gen2 - first Bose headphones with the dreaded pressure feeling for me

The adaptive ANC is a terrible feature (the ANC changes based on whatever it thinks is appropriate) Sony WH XM5 and WH XM6 have this feature too and it is annoying.

Thoughts on the QC Ultra 2 Headphones after a week + a few issues

I’m currently comparing a set of Gen and Gen 2 along with the JBL Tour One M2 that were clearance $165. Coming from JBL Live 660nc that still serve me well I have a bit of loyalty and love for JBL but they are currently losing to both Bose models lol. I have found the eq simplicity and easy to dial

Px7 S3 - A bittersweet goodbye.

I have the px8 s2 and my wife has the px7 s3. Were In love with both pairs. I bought and returned the Sony xm6, the Bose quiet comfort 2, and the AirPod max. I think they both blow all of them away. Also we just both wore both on 4 flights and they blocked out almost all sound. You just have to have
