If you have fine motor skils, some tweezers, and good eyes or magnification, you can swap the batteries. I just did it and posted about it here. If need the conductive tape I would be glad to send you a piece (I have a big roll I'll never use). I've not found a good alternative. Possibly the Sony XM

#Need real-world feedback - considering returning Sony XM6

I'd love some real-world feedback while I consider returning my XM6. I used to have AirPods Max (lightning port) that I sold due to its weight and port as I try to move to a USB-C only setup. I couldn't stand the case and the weight.

I have a big head so I just found the xm6 uncomfortable overall. The top headband felt uncomfortable after using them for a decent amount of time. The WC XLs helped a lot on the clamping force, but it still felt uncomfortable. I prefer the heavier bass that I got when I had tried the Bose before. I

Sound is so so subjective but having owned the XM6, Ultra2 and APM 1, if you have a larger head/ears don’t go near the Sonys. Too much clamp and shallow cups. Ultra 2 are comfy but get sweaty. Does it feel awkward wearing the B&O H95 with the XR? I have a pair of WH-1000XM6's and could never make the earcups not conflict with the headband of the headset.

Got your point they’re not the best .It’s just that the options are really limited if you want headphones that actually fit properly with the PSVR2. I have the Sony WH-1000XM6 (and even the XM4) and neither of them fit with the headset, so Pulse Elite was the only practical choice for me.
