Over ear ANC Bose, Sony or neither? negative reviews worry me, anyone having advice?

Listening to music while playing games on SteamDeck
As someone who has burned through Bluetooth earbuds I also want to say I love that I can use wired headphones on the deck. It's the primary way I use my Sony ULT wear headphones at home.
