Emma’s Earbuds (headphones?)

Yes! I don't know if I said a brand on the pod, but I have a few different pairs, I'll list them below! One thing I always consider is active noise canceling versus passive noise canceling. Active noise canceling is what AirPods and similar headphones provide. This means they use specific frequencie

Headphones recos as video editor

Sony MDR-7506 seems to be the default staple at like 90% of the post houses I've worked at, haha. But hey, why not? They're pretty solid.

Finally got them and I’m really happy! 😃 My first pair of professional headphones: Sony MDR-7506. Paired with my Audient iD14 MKII, I think they’ll make a great combo 🎧

You'll always see soup forks on here and elsewhere talking shit on the ol' 7506. Talking about how Focals are better, you need planar magnetic headphones, if you don't spend more than $1000 on headphones you're not serious about music, etc. etc. etc. It's beyond ridiculous. There is a reason that yo

Mio's headphones

To be fair common monitor headphones aren't that expensive as they're more bare bone tools than hobby toys. They're typically not extremely built nor featured, nor do they have the best technicalities. The studio staple Sony MDR-7506 and its Japanese market cousin MDR-CD900ST are just $100-ish. Even

Which headphones should I buy?

I use pretty much exclusively use headphones for editing. I’ve been using Sony MDR7506’s for 14 years. Never had any issues besides some wear and tear on the soft material that covers the cups, but they are still comfortable despite that.

Recommend Headphones for using a 2i2 to record guitar.

I use a Sony MDR7506 with my Scarlett Solo and M2 Mac Mini . It's about $100, Might be overkill , there might be something cheaper and just as good. Having a coiled cord is kinda of a pain , ymmv

Any Headphone Recommendations?

spend the money on something like the sony MDR 7506. These are used all around the world in various studios and production environments. Well worth the cost. Buying cheaper stuff just means you have to replace it more often. I've been using the same pair for over a decade with no issue.
