85” Sony Bravia 9 Mini LED or Samsung S90F OLED..?

I currently own 85" Bravia 9, 75" Sony ZH8, 75" Bravia 7, 75" X90L, 65" A80L OLED, and an 85" X900F, OLED is great if you value the very best picture quality and color, but I like my Bravia 9 even more, the extra brightness of it makes any source have more pop, if your room has alot of light then Br

Sony A80L vs LG C5/G5 (65”)

The current Bravia 8 which replaced the A80L is $1600 new the offer of $1k for an OLED that is at least 2-3 years old and likely has no warranty is laughable

Is black crush a problem with all OLEDs?

Can't say for all tvs, but the black levels on my sony a80l seem fine. I guess Sony processing makes up for it? It's not very bright speaking of pure brightness, but I've never complained that I can't see the details in dark scenes.

What’s a good movie to watch with a new OLED TV?

That’s the size OLED I have too, Sony Bravia A80L. Such a beautiful, natural picture. The movies I’d suggest would be… The Matrix Blade Runner Blade Runner 2049 Alien Interstellar Mad Max Furiosa: A Mad Max Story The Thing Ex Machina Annihilation Prospect Arrival The original Star Wars trilogy Star

I currently have an 85” Sony 900H. For $5,000~ or less should I get a 83”~ OLED or 100”~ other TV. For reference I sit 10 feet away in a windowless media room and want to watch movies/play games.

You can easily do an 83" OLED, it's absolutely worth it. Especially for movies, the Sony A80L if on clearance at Best Buy for ~$3500

TV Upgrade Time

I currently own a 85" Bravia 9, 75" Bravia 7, and a 65 A80L OLED, I would go with the Bravia 7 for sure, it's 90% of the Bravia 9, Bravia 9 just is brighter, I love the OLED because it has a wonderful picture, but the extra brightness makes everything pop more!

OLED TV burn-in warranty in Dubai?

Using Sony A80L since last 3 years, no issues of burn in observed till now despite high usage. I guess for newer OLEDs burn in issues are mostly resolved. Unless your usage is extreme (Channel logos) ,it's unlikely to have burn in. I feel so called experts over hype burn in issues when comparing OLE

Would you rather have a late model Pioneer (500m/141FD) or a late model Panasonic (ZT60, VT, etc)

You sound like you need a more dull realistic looking OLED for yourself...... the Sony A80L with motion for Cinephile's lol..... the LG C5 OLED and G5 OLED would destroy your eyes lol.

Picked up 55” ST50… love it

I have a 65” Sony A80L and it’s awesome. I also have a PS5 and some 4K blu-rays, so I’ve seen what it’s fully capable of doing. Colors are a bit more saturated, contrast is higher, and 4K 120 is hard to complain about. But… from an image quality standpoint, this 14 year old 1080P plasma is about 90%

Crimson Desert issues: explanation and possible fix

This reinforces my quick fix to a few crimson desert issues. I have a Sony A80L. It has Sony’s gimmicky auto PS5 settings. I’m sure other manufacturers have similar features. My settings on the PS5 looked like OP’s. But I actually got a fix from unplugging the HDMI cable from the console and letting
