What are some cool ways y’all have enhanced your couch touring setup??

We added two Sonos Fives (to our existing Arc and Sub) and boy are those things are worth every penny. Also added a Govee synchronized LED light kit. Great bang for your buck IMO.

What's the best money you spent this year?

Sonos Five and Move 2 to add to my single Roam. They were reduced by 33% and while it was still a lot of money... Totally worth it. Music is life.

Adding fronts

I highly recommend adding fronts. I’ve experimented with Fives, Play 3s, era 100s, and One G2s. They all sound awesome but the order I listed them is how I rank them in terms of overall sound quality. I bought the Play 3s just do the test. $140 for the pair which seems to be the going rate. I was sh

Side surrounds Era 100

My pleasure and thank you! I really enjoy our Sonos gear and even though a relative Sonos newbie, I’ve completely outfitted two homes just like I want. I’m prepping for my second post-military career and want all the toys updated beforehand. My wife of 44 years thinks I got carried away and spent wa

Need some help with home sound system.

That looks like a device that takes inputs from an amp or receiver and splits them into separate zones. It’s old-school and pretty outdated. Since you’ll need to get an amp anyway, you can remove that and connect the speaker wires directly to a Wiim or Sonos amp. Wiim is more affordable and works re

Is it worthwhile to add two Sonos One as fronts with my current setup?

It’s absolutely worth it! When you add the front L&R speakers, the system deactivates just the front L&R channels on the soundbar. All the others are still active and the outboard speakers replace those two channels. Your One SLs are perfect for the job! I have a lot of Sonos gear between two homes.

Dolby Atmos with Added FL and FR Five Pair

Just an update for anyone that is also considering the era 100 as fronts. I’ve moved my five pair to the gym and am using the era100s as fronts now. I’m really pleased with the 100s. They sound thinner than the fives, but a future ‘Sonos’ integration will crossover the full range that the fronts cur

Arc / Sub Gen 3/ Era 100s (front) / Era 300s (rears)

From everything I’ve heard, the fives are excellent as front left / right. The only thing that is a little annoying is that Sonos is actively working on bringing this out officially and if they do there’s a chance that 300s could be a better option if they enable more than just the left / right chan

Any Audiophile Heads? Anybody got a setup they think is perfect and want to share?

My house setup is 6 of the new gen Fives, a dozen or so ones, a couple subs, and a couple soundbars. I like Sonos for what it is... I do most of my "sit down, zone out" listening with the setup I mentioned above, but Sonos is definitely the answer when we have guests or want to watch tv and send the

Apple Music on AppleTV 4k

It sounds like you've got a bit of a mess to straighten out in order to get the full functionality. Neither 5s nor Ones will play Atmos, but they work really well for straight stereo music. There's a also a way to pair the Ones as front channel speakers with an Arc for a better 5.1 setup. If you wan
