Beam Gen 2

When I hear the narration / voiceover, it is mostly quiet and weird, like a background voice volume.

Looks like other people have this issue too?

I have a great setup, Sonos Beam Gen 2 + Sub Mini. LG OLED TV, Apple 4k box….

Never had this issue with anything else.

I’m late to the party as mine just updated, but I dislike the lack of upmix on my Sonos beam 2. I watch a lot of YouTube and Twitch and it sounds very hollow with continuous audio connection turned on and not using the center speaker.

It sounds mudded. Both in my lg Sn8yg and Sonos beam gen 2 switching to Dolby 5.1 improves the quality a lot, maybe because the soundbar adds enhancement to Dolby and it doesn’t to lpcm

I bought the Sony Bravia XR-65X90L (2023) a few weeks back and I have the Sonos Beam Gen 2 plugged into HDMI 3, eARC. This all works perfectly.

The problem starts when I plug my Nintendo Switch (1) into any HDMI port. Then the TV doesn’t recognise the Soundbar anymore and it switches to th
