I love the HDB630 as well, I recently got them, I wish the hinges were metal, but I saw on a post from Sennheiser on another forum, that they believe the plastic yokes, hinges on HDB630 are extremely durable already. But the sound is incredible, I don't even have to EQ anything.

i would say they are worth it they are amazing but if sound is a priority for you ( not saying xm6 sound bad they also sound fantastic) but i think bowers and sennheisers (not momentum 4s. i think they kind of equal but hdb630 does sound better)are better in terms of sound quality. but you probably
